Google Places have been optimised for display on smartphones such as the iPhone, Android, and Blackberry - as well as on standard desktop and laptop PCs. (By the way, many standard websites do not display well on smartphones. Below are some iPhone screenshots of Google Place pages.

You can find Google Places by selecting the Places menu option when you access Google via your web browser on your mobile.

STOP PRESS : Google has developed a places App for both the iPhone and Android. (You can find this in the App stores.)
