There are many ways to access Places pages using Google. Here we show how you do it if you are using a standard desktop or laptop PC.

Here are some examples of how you find Google Places for solicitors in London. For example, type 'London Solicitor' into the usual Google search box and you get the following. To find specific Places entries click on the red-balloon symbol in the listings or the map; alternatively you can click on the 'Place page' text to the right of each listed entry. You'll usually find other results on the page that do not not have Places entries; if you repeat the search after selecting 'Places' in the menu on the left, you'll get only Places results.

See further down this page for what you'll see if you are using Google Maps.

If you are using, Google Maps, move to the area of the country or town that you are interested in. If you then enter, for example, 'Solicitor' into the search box, you'll get a listing of solicitors with Places pages:
If you click on 'more info', you'll go straight to the related Places page. If you click on the red balloon or the name of the business, a box will open on the map giving you some basic information about the business. There's an example of this below. You can then click on 'more info' to go to the Place page.
